Mr. and Mrs. Schlueter

Catawissa, MO
August 5th, 2020|

We were evicted on Monday. Only one eviction notice was given to us, on Thursday at 10 a.m. We have no place to go. We have an 8-year-old and 2-year-old. We are on the streets and our stuff is still sitting outside of the trailer. Don’t know where we’re going to put it. No money. My wife works as a home care person, taking care of people who are in need and not making a whole lot of money. We were struggling to make a living for our girls. One of their birthdays is coming up on August 18th, and we have no house to celebrate her birthday in. We’re going to celebrate her birthday on the streets.

Park management doesn’t even care. They don’t even have a heart about anything. We had HUD assistance, but they didn’t want to sign the paperwork in the hood and actually pay them on half of the rent while my wife and I pay the other half to keep the trailer. They messed up and they just threw us out and they never care. So now we’re struggling with nowhere to go. We load the car up with food that we try to keep cold. We don’t have a way of doing anything without a roof over our heads and a bed to lay in. I wish we had some help. Everybody else out in this damn world of America gets help and we need a home where it’s safe, sound, and secure for our girls. They still go to school and I don’t know what we’re going to do. We have no place to live, so if anybody out there is listening or reads this story, please help. Thank you have a nice day.
