I have been on unemployment since April 2020. I only get $134 a week from unemployment. My husband doesn’t get anything. We got behind on rent. Got behind on everything. Lights and water. Internet, car payments. We went to the agencies here in my town, but no one could help us with the rent. They only had limited funds for utilities. My work closed permanently in September. I had been there for 14 months. By October, the water got cut off, but I did get help to pay the light bill, thank God!! It took me three weeks to get the water back on. The car repoed in October, on my 50th Birthday!! By November, the water got turned off again, because I still owed a past due bill. I’ve been in a depression since September. I got the water turned on again two weeks before Christmas.

We didn’t get a stimulus check, because my husband owed back child support. So I’m still waiting to hear back from the IRS about an appeal I filed. My landlord gave me an eviction notice. I opposed it, and I gotta go to court soon. They are evicting people here. I’m in desperate need for rental assistance. I keep my faith and pray every day!
